I had a wonderful meal at Break in the Lake! I have eaten at seafood restaurants at the beach that didn't have shrimp as fresh or deliciously prepared! We will be back. Also our server was fantastic!

I ordered the salmon dinner with a side salad and broccoli, and I have to say---if this meal were running for public office, I'd vote for it. The salmon was so perfectly cooked it practically gave a TED Talk on flakiness. The side salad was crisp enough to make me feel like a responsible adult, and the broccoli was steamed just right---soft, but not mushy, like it had been to therapy and found inner peace. And then... the pretzel bites. Oh buddy. These things weren't just pretzel bites --- they were salty little clouds of joy. If comfort food and happiness had a baby, it would be these pretzel bites. Perfectly warm, perfectly salted, and served with cheese and mustard dipping sauces. Overall, 10/10. I came in hungry and left feeling like a healthier, happier, slightly more pretzel-obsessed version of myself. This was my second time there being a newer resident to Greenwood but I can assure you I will be back (maybe every weekend) Highly recommend.

The Shrimp Taco's Was Amazing The Shrimps we're Amazing. Also The Sauce On The Shrimp Added That Extra Flavor. The Restaurant Environment Was Nice. I Also Love The Strawberry lemonade. Very Nice Restaurant And A Very Nice Place To Eat At.

Delicious and so much food! Made a couple of meals from this plate. Good value for the cost! Shout out to our server too-she was knowledgeable, patient with us as we caught up with each other after not being together for months and attentive without being intrusive. We all had a wonderful Friday afternoon at the Break on the Lake.

While traveling through Greenwood on Salvation Army business, I called my wife for a local restaurant recommendation---and I'm so glad she pointed me to Break on the Lake. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted and seated with a beautiful view overlooking the water, which set the tone for a great dining experience. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and let me just say---they did not disappoint. The shrimp were plump, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The grits were rich and creamy with a delicious house-made sauce that pulled everything together beautifully. And the thick-cut bacon on top! That was the perfect finishing touch. I've had my fair share of shrimp and grits over the years, but this dish ranks among the very best I've ever tasted. I'll absolutely be stopping back in the next time I pass through. Highly recommend!
